ERW, which stands for Electric Resistance Welding, is a state-of-the-art welding technology used in the production of our precision steel tubes. But what exactly does it mean, and what advantages does it offer over other welding techniques?
What is the meaning of ERW?
ERW is a welding method for tubes made from steel strips, which involves a gradual cold forming until the edges of the steel strip are joined into a tubular shape. This process takes place through the application of heat to the joint, generated by an induction coil and transferred via a current flow.
Our tubes are manufactured using ERW welding to ensure maximum precision, reliability and quality. Thanks to an advanced production process and strict quality controls, we are able to offer our customers tubes that meet their highest demands in terms of performance and durability.
