High-frequency (HF) welding is a technique that offers many advantages, including speed, precision, and strength of welding, and is characterized by its unique and highly efficient technology. Let’s see in detail what it is all about!
What is the high frequency welding?
High-frequency (HF) welding represents a fundamental technological process used to join the edges of flexible materials, such as preformed strips. This method uses a high-frequency alternating current generator, which, by means of a coil, induces a high electric current. This current causes the strips’ edges to melt, which, once melted, are pressed together to complete the weld.
HF technology is distinguished by its ability to produce accurate and robust welds in an extremely efficient manner, making it a preferred choice in many industrial applications.
