How are the steel coils cut?
Steel coils are cut into strips with a predetermined width to fit specific production requirements, such as tube fabrication. This cutting process is performed using a Slitting Line – also known as coil cutting machine – an industrial facility that allows continuous longitudinal cutting of coils into strips. The coil is sheared longitudinally and continuously into several strips separated by rotating knives.
